Sometimes it is hard to know what to say on this, our family ministry site. I’ve been loading up the blogosphere with news about Isaiah, which seems appropriate to put elsewhere, “but what else is going on?”, you might ask. Well, here’s a little tidbit for you, and an evidence of your prayers at work for progress in the language. Recently Thomas has begun teaching a small group of pastors about music. The idea is to help them eventually be able to at least peck out in correct time the melody of a hymn for their congregation to sing. Thomas is teaching the class all in Russian, without any help from an interpreter! Every Thursday he has his language lesson for 3 hours in the morning, eats a little bit of lunch, travels to the class and teaches in Russian for 3 hours in the afternoon. Isaiah and I have been with him 1 time, and I think he did a great job! So keep praying for our language learning. And if you think about it, please pray for these 4 men who are trying to learn some music basics.
